VNC viewer?

Post by asturtz »

Does anyone know if there is a way to have the "Use DSMPlugin" checkbox selected by default in the VNC Viewer. I have no problem setting the registry keys to do this for the Server but there seems to be no way to do this for the Viewer. Any suggestions?

What I had initialy done is that the Use DSM checkbox was automatically checked as soon as at least one DSM plugin was detected in the directory (then listed in the combo box).
But someone told me it wasn't a good idea because sometimes people have the plugin in the directory but don't necessarily want to use it...

So the only other solution would be to save the info "DSM checked" in the registry.

Thanks for the reply...your first part isn't really an issue since we will always be using the plugin for our connections..after that my only question is what is the path and name of the keys that I need to save in the registry. Thanks again. Andrew.

Well, the saving of DSM settings is not yet implemented in the viewer.

I think I'm going to reanabling the good old "auto checking" stuff when plugin is in the directory, then I will probably do the registry saving as well.
Not available before the next release... :?

Yes, use the command line option for this:

vncviewer.exe /dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin.dsm
