Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
ip is logged
1) mslogon.log
2) events, you can view it via the vent manager
There exist also the query settings, you can tell vnc that you want
to manual accept. When someone connect, you get a popup,
asking to accept or deny the connection.

Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
If you have the UltraVNC server running on your computer, and you have the "eyeball" icon in your task tray (closest to your clock), you can usually right-click on the icon. One of the options available is "List All Clients" which shows who is connected to your PC through VNC at that time.
Is this what you were asking?

Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
I have ultravnc working as an service only and my boss is connecting to see what I'm doing.... I can't change any settings because he will put them back... I only want an alert...thanks
Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
Aside from editing the registry settings here (Just to mess with or break connection): [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL], I believe the systray icon shifts from blue to green when a connection is present? Of course, this is assuming the systray icon is present.
Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
I wanted to do a .bat program but I don't know very well how.... I find this command (fc /b c:\1.txt c:\2.txt) and wanted to copy the old file and compare it with the new one (the log file) and when a change appears to execute this command (type mslogon.log) or somethig else to promp me... but I don't know how to make it run in the back and to appear only when a chage appears and I don't know how to make it check every 5 seconds ( to make a loop)....

You can set up a repeating task under Control Panel/Scheduled Tasks or by using the AT command from the command prompt. I think every 5 seconds may be a little overly paranoid though. Your boss can't expect you be constantly busy can he?
Re: I have ultravnc I and want to see who's connecting to me
My boss it's a real idiot and he is paranoic... he thinks everybody it's just waisting time and not doing anythink....thaks for the tip I will give it a try
