server video

Post by roland »

whenever I play an instructional video on the server side, we are unable to see it on the client side. We just see a black video screen, i.e., real player. Is there anyway to correct this so the client viewer is able to see the picture? Thank you.

I feel it is the same problem (vnc only passes data from remote frame buffer; your app might be sending video in overlay... which is not seen by vnc at all)

I forgot earlier:
one thing you might try is to switch the hardware acceleration off on your server display properties. But I am not sure it that will help in itself or is not sufficient...
