Going through building firewall router, Admin gave public IP, seeable from internet! (I have no control of this box, Admin opened pass thought to our local static IP) to our Linksys firewall router with port forwarding on and ports 5900 allowed to workstation. I can get the password prompt and log on, no problem. However I do not get the remote desktop. The Host user can see me moving the mouse and chat works, Is there an additional port to open for remote video display? Looking for answers? Thanks in advance!!

Sergio wrote:We have EXACTLY (I mean EXACTLY !) the same problem. We have found that (in our case) is an ISP problem (configuration, software, hardware, we don't know really), not a VNC problem.
We have a hardware NAT router (D-Link DI-604) connected to an ADSL Modem (Tainet), and we have found 2 workarounds to the problem:
1) We unpluged the hardware NAT router and installed a software NAT router like WinRoute, and the problem disapeared.
2) We changed our ISP provider, keeping the hardware NAT router, and the problem disapeared.
Hope that helps ...
