MS Logon II - Local admin?

Post by bhusk »

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if MS Logon II disables the ability to log into VNC using the local administrator account? It seems to work okay with MS Logon I?

Thanks!

no it should not disable the ability, but if uvnc mslogon is not setup properly you may have logon issues..;)

oh you need to use mslogon II for domain authenication and which version of UVNC are you using there is a major bug in version 1.01 and it is corrected in version 1.02..;)

Does UVNC work properly if you use classical authenication?? and temperarly disable your mslogon to see if you can get your local admin back..;)

I guess the problem is that if the computer is NOT joined to a domain, you cannot log into uvnc using the local system administrator account with MS Logon II. It seems to work fine if the computer is part of a domain. In both scenarios I verified that the local administrator is present in the mslogon config with full rights.

If I disable mslogon the password works for both scenarios.

EDIT: v1.0.2
