Yep it is, or should be :)

1) http://www.hostip.info/
This give the ip adress the user will see, this is the ip adress to use in helpdesk.txt (1)

2) On your router you need to forward the port to your PC.

Internal IP: 10.10.10.1
EXternal IP:56.73.65.34 (1)
Router forward port 5501 to ip 10.10.10.1

[HOST]
-connect 56.73.65.34:5501

Natural, this implement that the user have access to the internet. If he has setup a firewall that only allow acces thru a proxy server it will not work.

You can even test it with two internal PCs
10.10.10.2 (SC)
10.10.10.1 (Viewer)
Clicking on SC, SC connect to 56.73.65.34 port 5501 (router) the router
know port 5501 and forward it to 10.10.10.1

spiderwebb,

I've have SC posted on my site and I email it to clients. It's worked for me 100%. Take a look at my site and see if it's what you have in mind. I'll send you my configuration files if you want them.
