I decided to try the helpdesk thing. I set up a SC server using a dyndns address, which allows me to change the IP that it points to.
While testing the server with my viewer, I noticed that in the chat window, the SC user is represented by their computer name, and I am represented by my ip address (like <77.777.777.77>).
Is there any way to not have it show my IP address to the user? It's mostly an aesthetic request, not a paranoia thing. I'd like it to say something like <HelpDesk> or <Technician> or something.
I noticed that the SC server is represented by <WinVNC User> on the viewer side. (no IP addresses are shown)
