I've been running UltraVNC at home for ages. All of a sudden, it's playing up.
If I try to connect to one particular remote machine, I get the 'Failed to connect to server' message. I've turned off the firewall (ZoneAlarm) and it makes no difference. If I reboot, it will then work, but only for a few hours. Try again say 6 hours later or the following day and I get the dreaded message.
Any ideas folks?

I saw this but didn't think it would be the problem as it is several hours before the fault seems to manifest itself. I'll give it a go though.

Did it help? Or did you find any other solution? I have the exact same problem. I don't run Zonealarm though... I use the XP firewall.
