Problem with vncviewer.exe error

Post by ajblanck »

I followed the instructions on how to make a .exe file online, but when I try to open it, I see a extracting dialog and then just the vnc icon on my taskbar. What did I do wrong to have the window with the logo and where you double click to connect not appear?

Problem solved,

I started from custom.zip again and this time it works, but now there's a new problem. :(

If I start the .exe on a remote machine, it says it's connected but then on my computer, two errors come up. One says "vncviewer has caused an error in vncviewer.exe", and the other says "vncviewer has caused an error in WS2_32.dll. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, I just realized that I the error doesn't come up when I'm not using encryption. I am running the vnc viewer in listen mode and using the plugin from the command prompt. I have Windows ME.
