Need simple app to teach

Post by Ohtime »

Hi, I am looking for a way to show my desktop to people. I will use this for teaching software classes, one on one. They do not need to be able to control my desktop just see what I am doing on mine.

I use UltrsVNC SC now to teach from there desktop, but I now need to do it from my desktop. If this could somehow work with SC that would be great.

I will need to use this on two or three computers I have.

I also need to keep the costs as low as possible or free!

Thanks

Larry

TightProjector

What is TightProjector?
TightProjector is a software that can transmit the screen of a particular computer to other computers in the same local-area network. The data is transmitted continuously, in real time.

Why not load VNC Server and have your clients install SUN Java . VNC Server has a Java applet included. Your students can connect to you through their IE browser. You will be able to send them a link and password so they can connect to your workstation and if you want just disable they inputs.
