How do I make it connect?

Hi,

I cannot make my VNCViewer view my client who is trying to connect.
This is on my home LAN, so port forwarding is not an issue.

1) On my host computer I run vncviewer -listen
2) Then I run .EXE on client
3) client gives me a message about waiting for 5 minutes.
4) Host does nothing.
5) If i double click on the green eye and press Connect, it says failed to connect to Server!

Not sure what to do from this point.

try to open port 5500 to your computer have vncviewer -listen
or
disable firewall on your LAN if available to your broadband router.

some norton firewall even locally can block some traffic if you don't set properly the software.
