Cannot get SC to work at all.

I am trying to set up SC to work only on my LAN.
I created the Helpdesk.txt file with my IP:5500, ZIPped it and created an EXE from that file. I set up VNCViewer in listen mode and I tried running the EXE file from another machine.
When I try running the EXE, it just unzips the files on the user's desktop and does not do anything else.
Re-did the whole process a few times with same result.
Any suggestions?

Do I still need to make changes on my router if I this will only work on the LAN?

I must be doing something wrong...
I think the problem lies on the .exe file the user downloads.
The only thing that happens when the user run the executable is that the 6 files in it are copied to the desktop, it does not trigger the connection.
Any ideas?

How are you compiling this .exe??

What is in your helpdesk.txt with the a fake ip please??

Something that sometimes works is making sure that the port is forwarded and if there is a checkmark "enable" next to the port, make sure it's checked and make sure only one is enabled also make sure your IP has not changed, you can check by going to cmd and typing in ipconfig.

How are you creating the .exe file? You should use the VNC SC uploader.
