Wrong Password Answer from serwer - the password is correct

Hallo

Sorry for my english i'm from Poland.

I have to WINXP PRO with SP2. The computers are in the same Local networks but in differend workgroups. The VNC Serwer's firewall has open 5900 port for TCP and UDP. I use MS LOGON II.

I configure MS LOGON II for one user NV\user1 with administration rights. User1 has normal password, and after connect i have answer from serwer "Wrong Password". It's only working when I add "All users" in MS LOGON II.

Where id the problem???

I very need this software.

I have the same problem here. I never had this problem before and i've use mslogon II many times before without any probs.

Im under winXP sp2
Foreceguest is disabled
I've tryied to desinstall/reinstall
I can connect normally with mslogon

Here's the messages (i try both local and remote connection wothout any success, these are local messages)

Invalid attempt (not authenticated) from client 192.168.0.254 using quarkz account
Thu Aug 24 16:01:42 2006 - CUPSD2: Access is 0, user quarkz is not authenticated, access granted is 0x0

Can you please help me?

If caps lock is on at the host it will require you to enter the password in reverse case, ie, REVERSECASE=reversecase

CAPS LOCK is not on locally and even remotely.
As i never had this problem before, i really don't understand what's happening

or
XP Professional ?

MS Logon II won't work for vnc server on XP Home.
only VNC authentication or MS Logon I work with XP Home.
you need UltraVNC 1.0.2 on both side (vnc viewer client or/and vnc server)

I have xp pro and 1.02 on both side.
Could it be due to a service?
Im used to deactivate some services maybe i've touched one essential for vnc..?

should very very difficult to help someone have their uvnc 1.0.2 working and not work later. Only you know what you doing change/patch or anything change.

It works with mslogon I but impossible with mslogon II

Ok!
i finally found what was the problem.

"Deny logon to the computer from the network" was disabled but no groups was assigned to "access to the computer from the network"

Everything is working fine now.
