Standalone Viewer version 1.0.1 works fine. However, with the latest version 1.0.2, there seems to be an established connection but the display window fails to open. The remote SC application doesn't time out either. When the remote SC application is terminated manually, an error window indicating a connection failure pops-up on the Viewer PC. Reverted back to using 1.0.1 for now...
Can anyone please confirm if the current SC is indeed incompatible with the standalone viewer 1.0.2? Thanks!

Re: UVNC Standalone Viewer 1.0.2 compatible with UVNC SC?
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did enabled the XP firewall to allow Viewer 1.0.2. I even tried disabling the firewall but same symptoms.
Are you using the Standalone Viewer 1.0.2 now? I do not use the viewer that's integrated in UVNC 1.0.2. I realize that they're essentially the same viewer but the front-end hooks and switches to activiate the viewer may be implemented with slight differences.
This is the command I use to initiate the Standalone Viewer:
"C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm -listen
This works at least for Standalone Viewer 1.0.1. Should be OK for 1.0.2?

Re: UVNC Standalone Viewer 1.0.2 compatible with UVNC SC?
Never mind... the latest Standalone Viewer 1.0.2 does indeed work with SC!!
I switched back to the previous version 1.1.8.0 of MSRC4Plugin.dsm and MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm I was using with Standalone Viewer 1.0.1. The latest version 1.2.1.0 of the MSRC4 Plug-ins seems to be the cause of my failed connection with Viewer 1.0.2.
Thanks redge for making me look a little deeper. Just got to figure out why the latest MSRC4 plug-ins don't work now...
