trayicon missing??

trayicon missing??

i reformatted my system and reinstalled windows xp home edition. i installed the latest version of ultravnc1.0.2 and installation went great. but i'm just missing the ultravnc tray icon and under misc. disable trayicon is not check. i am able to remotely connect to this system, but i would feel more comfortable if the trayicon was there. does anyone know why it is missing?

fondoo, do you mean you cannot see the bar ("Start" and the icontray) of the server on your remote client?

actually, after several reboots the vnc server "eye" icon appears on the bottom right system tray. thanks for your reply.

Roxio Universal Plug and Play has a reputation for making it so SysTray Icons do not appear. Also there is a Reg key that make it so the systray for winvnc.exe server shows in systray.
