Hi,
I've been a "silent" user of this forum for a while, and I have to tell it has helped me a lot. ( Thanks !! )
Now, I'm setting up my own SC system for HelpDesk, and I have two (non-technical) questions:
- According to the VNC / SC GPL licence, or to any other, is there any OBLIGATION to: mention, include licence, etc. in any webpage using SC/VNC/UVNC/etc. ???
( Like this one: http://www.eurowin.com/remoto/ ) they have set up a nice system, i will like mine to look like this , but there's no mention or reference to VNC... )
- I see in the forum a lot of questions of people setting up systemslike this, but... Where are they ??!!?? Not very much references to "finished" webpages and/or projects , if any !! I ill like to invite everyone with a running system to share with us... I will do wih mine when ready, in the meantime take the one upwards as an example of what I mean.
Thanks for your help,
Best Regards,
ManuelMav

This forum is for VNC related products.
This means not only UltraVNC. It even is allowed to announce or describe commercial (and of course non-commercial) programs here (but not anywhere else in the forum)
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer

Re: Members Pages for SC ??
Hi,
Thanks for yor reply. However, the referenced post about GPL doesnt clarify anything to me... too complex for me and my poor english!!
As I'm not a developer, but a user of a "finnished" product (without having had access to any sourcecode, etc) , any simple answer like "yes, you have to..." or "no, no need of any reference..." will be great. The sample page I give, (withou any ref to VNC nor GPL licensing) is legal or not ?
As for the VNC products, there are a lot of great VNC developments in your link, but I'm asking por users(forum...or not) giving support with SC through a webpage...
It's weird for me not to find a single one referenced !!
Thanks again,
Best Regards,
Manuel.
