Has anyone else encountered problems with CA's Pest Patrol (stand-alone or Integrated Threat Management system) and UltraVNC. Pest Patrol has a Pest Exclusion list which seems to only "exclude" files, not registry settings.
Summary:
1) Install and configure UltraVNC (1.01 or 1.02) and Mirror Driver
2) Run Pest Patrol and exclude VNC, UltraVNC and their directories.
3) Run Pest Patrol scan.
After these, you will notice the ORL entry in the Registry to be empty, or remove. However, all the files for UltraVNC will still exists on the hard drive.
Is there any more complete way of "excluding" UltraVNC (VNC)????
