SC 1.00 Test Online Compile and DSM plugin (latest)

Post by roadrun777 »

Can anyone help me out here?
I can not get the SC 1.00 version to work using the MSRC4 Plugin version 119RC8 or 1200.
I have renamed the MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm -> MSRC4Plugin.dsm, placed that in the vnc viewer folder and generated my key, I have placed they key into the zip file (the zip file cotains NO subfolders). My helpdesk.txt file is very simple, it only names one connection on my internal network. I have followed the instructions over and over again. I have tried several different version of the plugin, 2 different versions of Vncvierwer (1.02 and 1.01).
Everything is set up correctly, when I receive the incoming connection on the listening server it says that there is an invalid protocol.
The PC running SC EXE thinks its connted fine then just drops instantly after I click ok on my end to dismiss the dialog box stating there is a protocol error.

I have followed the instructions over and over again, I can get any of the SC versions to work without using the encryption plugin, but as soon as I add it, it no longer works, giving me an invalid protocol error.
Anyone willing to help?

C:\UltraVNC\singleclick-compatible\vncviewer.exe -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin.dsm -listen 5500

in the same folder is rc4.key and MSRC4Plugin.dsm (which is the renamed version of the noreg dsm plugin)

In my helpdesk.txt file the connection string is --

-plugin -connect 192.168.1.99:5500 -noregistry

The SC EXE was compiled from the main page using version 1.00 test.
The custom.zip file contains no subfolders, and has the same rc4.key file, and the same MSRC4Plugin.dsm (I have tried compiling with MSRC4Plugin119RC8 and MSRC4Plugin1200 both of these are the noreg version renamed)

because you have a long filename singleclick-compatible higher than 8 caracters, you need use quote:

"C:\UltraVNC\singleclick-compatible\vncviewer.exe" -dsmplugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm -listen 5500

Same problem here! v1.1.8.0 of MSRC4 NOREG Plugin works fine! Try that version!
