XP Home, UVNC Java login, locked screen

Post by scotte »

Most [every?] time I use the Ultravnc Java capability via the web, the UVNC server (running on a Win XP Home system) goes into screen-lock. I know the password, so I click the account and enter the password.

UVNC was newly downloaded and installed by me on that newly configured system.

How do I prevent the initial connection from causing the server from locking the remote system upon my connection to it?

Thanks.

The answer turned out to be the need for me to redirect ports 5800 and 5900 to localhost via my ssh connection.
