Assigning ID numbers to various ports.

Post by Jhpersol »

I am not an expert on Networking and such but I am trying to establish a VNC SingleClick connection with a Repeater and I'm having some issues.

How do I assigned an ID number to a specific port number if I am port forwarding from an external ip address of an office network? SO for example I would like to have

Ext. IP: 34.54.23.111:(Port Number)

Port Number 5901 ----> ID #100
5902 ----> ID #101
5903 ----> ID #102
...etc
How can i assign these numbers 100, 101, 102, etc to a specific Port number that I forward?

Also, after this, how do i assign a specific port # (such as 5901, or 5902) to an Internal IP address, so that UVNC knows to forward an incoming connection to the proper internal ip address from an external ip address?

I hope I'm making sense....

well the ID's are really port numbers.
So an ID5902 --->5902
ID100 ---->100
ID101 ----->102

So you may want ID5901, ID5902, ID5903

Two ways

One is just to open the ports for all your unvc servers

Two is to use a repeater that handle up to 20 connections for you.
The link below has a few step by step's one is the repeater..:)
