cursor update problems when using keyboard

I'm trying to use Ultra VNC to work from home, and doing some dev work using Visual Studio... problem is, I use the keyboard a lot, and the cursor position doesn't get updated when I'm using the arrow keys... am I missing a setting somewhere that will ensure this happens?

Otherwise will have to go back to VNC 4 :(

i donno about vs, but in other text things.. like notepad.. i can see it move all over the place. only thing i can think of, is ive got mouse cursor set to track locally. Does it update if you force a refresh?
