DSMPlugin problem

Hi-
I am using UltraVNC (18) and I had the DSMPlugin working a few weeks ago...now....it doesn't matter whether it's checked or not on the server...the server lets me in without the plugin running...I have to not have it checked on the viewer...if I have it checked on the viewer I get "DSMPlugin cannot be configured".

I have made sure the DEFAULT and USER settings have the plugin checked to use...still I can get in without using the plugin. And I have made sure that the same plugin and rc4key are in the correct viewer/server directories.

i have the same problem... I can't fix this probably at all... I even downloaded a program that records everything that is done to a computer during installation, and I recorded ultraVNC's installation actions, went in and totally reversed them, and reinstalled the program and it still doesn't work. You can read my post I made on 8/17.

I wish someone knew how to fix it.

DSM plugin error

I also have the same problem and have not been able to fix it. I have comlpetely removed all files and registry entries, done a clean install, downloaded the plugin again and generated a new key.

I still get the same error. Server running on XPPro and viewer on W2K

Hope somebody knows how to fix this :|

Please activate logging....
Perhaps there is some usefull info in that file.

runnning as service , the log file is written as /systemm32/winvnc.log
