NAT2NAT NSC.exe Authentication: "Wrong password" Why?

I tried to setup a NAT2NAT communication.
For that I started at first (on the VNC server)
winvnc.exe
Then I started NSC.exe and doubleclicked on it.
A message window pops up which asks for a Username
and Password.

Hmm, which user+password should I enter?
I tried the only one that makes sense: The Win2000 username and
password of the local user which is currently logged on (and who
started winwvc.exe).

But much to my surprise I got another error popup:
"Wrong password".

Why?

Which password do I have to enter otherwise?

Do I have to register an account at the NH helper service web page in advance? Which is the URL to register?

you select your own username/password (not related to your windows logon)

Which ports do I have to open in the firewall for NSC.exe and NVC.exe ?

no need to open any port, this is the main advantage.

I am having the same problem. Same login and password on both computers, eventually I get a "wrong password" error.

debug mode all works OK, but release exe always have wrong passwd..
