Dual monitor at both sides

Post by LanX »

I've got two identical PCs: the first at the office, running UltraVNC server and video driver, and the other one at home, running latest version of tabbed browser.

Both PCs are equipped with nVidia GeForce 6600 PCI-express video cards configured in DualView mode, so that each screen has its own desktop.

Everything is ok: connection is fast and screen redrawing is really accurate, but the dual-monitor server is shown in the client as a single wide window containing both desktops to be scrolled left & right with a scrollbar.

Is it possible to have each screen of my VNC server shown in a separate monitor of my client, so that I can truly work in DualView mode?

If you want dual monitor support on the client side, you should be able to achieve that through your windows settings, yes it would be neet to be able to show each monitor, in a seperate window, but at the end of the, there is a current solution.

That is, you have One window (With no scrol bars), displaying on both monitors at the same time. Your video card, I think, should support that. I have done it in my lab, but I didn't use your card before...
