Sorry for this newbie question.
If I want to use a Nat2Nat communication:
Must winvnc.exe run too or is it sufficient if NSC.exe runs?
In other words: does NSC.exe contain the function of winvnc.exe or
alternatively does it start winvnc.exe automatically when connection is established?

Yes, you still have to run winvnc...
The nat2nat has is complete separate from the viewer (vncviewer.exe), and also complete separate from the server part (winvnc.exe).
So, that nat2nat is just a program that you run on fully exposed ip address that both client (viewer) and server can connect to….
Typically, that nat2nat is going to run on a separate machine then that of the client and server…
So, to answer you question:
Yes, you must run whichever you need or want on the particular machine. So, if you need the viewer…then you run the viewer. If you need a pc that you want to connect to..then you run the server part.
The nat2nat does not change this requirement at all, but only provides a means for them to talk…and eventually connect to each other…
