- Locally running UltraVNC viewer from a shortcut with target set to "C:\Local\vncviewer.exe -quickoption 4 -listen"
- Remotely they are using UltraVNC Single click we generated(multiple sites are causing this) from "web" page compiler "UltraVncSC based on RC23
Typically when I get this the VNCVIEWER locally hangs and needs to be killed off. I don't think it is a problem with Single click as that has not changed (so that's why I posted it here
) . Have tried the latest build of the viewer, 1.2.8, and still occurred. I thought it could be Microsoft change e.g. a patch and tried rolling back to a state (system restore point) before the last set of updates. No joy.
Outgoing connection seems OK. Tested from a laptop using dial up Internet (so it was a "slow, remote connection") & could not reproduce.
Note: No DSM plug in used. Searching the forum found some matches for when they were used.
