ctrl+alt+del does not working (service mode!)

Post by bruco »

Excuse me for my multipost. Earlier I have written in the wrong forum.

My situation:
Ultravnc 1.0.1 installed on my win 2003 server *as a service*, Ms logon required. Router port forwarding properly set.
When I connect from another workstation inside the LAN, all is ok, both with vncviewer and with java browser plugin: I type administrator's username and password, the lock station window appears, I send ctrl+alt+del, I retype administrator' (who locked) password and the desktop rules.
BUT: when I connect from a pc outside the lan, ctrl+alt+del has no effect! That is, the connection starts, I am able again to type username and password so to see the lock station window, but when I send ctrl+alt+del nothing happens! It's so frustrating...
Can anybody explain me why?

For the moderator: if possible, please delete my post in [DSM plugin] forum.

Solved. Fault of Zone Alarm settings, which, I think, prevents c+a+d. Hoping to be useful to somebody.
