I am running repeater 1.1.04 have found a problem that i can usually reproduce. If i am connected to a client via the proxy and there is an interruption with the network:
1. I lose temporary internet connectivity (my wireless goes offline for 2-3 seconds)
2. I am committing changes on my clients linksys router and he loses connectivity for 2-3 seconds the repeater locks up and i need to do a hard reset on my server.
I am running Windows 2k3 sp1. Please help.

I have been running this new version and it still occasionally crashes my server. I am running Windows Server 2003 (SP1). When it crashes it goes to a blue screen and then keeps looping (boot > blue screen > restart > boot > ...) the cycle usually keeps up for a while. After manually restarting the server it seems to come up. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is what is in my Application Event Log:
Faulting application repeater.exe, version 1.2.2.1, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0xc9c9c9c9.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
However this occurs more often in my System Event Log:
Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 817a8b41, parameter3 fa047cb0, parameter4 fa0479ac.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Is there a version of repeater for linux? Would it be more stable? HELP..

BSOD
This seems a problem of hard diagnosis and solution... I'm using the same configuration (Win2003 SP1) with no problems at all.
When does the crash occur (service start, connection start, connection close, ecc) ?
How often?
Is it reproducible?
Do you use proxy (mode I) or repeater (mode II) or both ?
Do you see something strange in the logs?
Bye

I am still trying to determine the actual problem. I am beginning to think now that it is Remote Desktop that is crashing the server. I have disabled RDP and have not had a problem yet. ( also scheduled the repeater process to restart at midnight everyday to clear up any lost memory).
