two support people with one single click program

Post by mmontoya »

I have two customer support people (who can each have their own static ip if needed). Is it possible to use one Single Click application that would request a connection to both techs (first one to accept gets control)?

yeah thats possible.

If you look at the textfile u need to change, u can set more hosts like this:

[HOST]
support first workers name
-connect IP-adress:port -noregistry

[HOST]
support second workers name
-connect IP-adress:port -noregistry

We gave every worker his own port and set that as configuration in your router or firewall.

The vncviewer is useable with the starting command:
"C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen portnumber

Good luck!

do you mean without having the customer double click the support person to support them?

the only way to use two support techs is to have the customer dbl click the tech of choice...and if that tech isn't available, the client will error out and not make a connection.
