Since vncviewer has command line options, can a script be written to ask for an ID and automate a repeater connection ?
This would be ideal when using SC and a support tech has to make a connection via repeater.
Instead of running viewer and manually entering repeater address::port and ID:####, the script would prompt for an ID and fill in the blanks on the command line, then run the command.
the command line would be
run vncviewer.exe -proxy 192.168.0.10::5901 ID:####
where #### is filled in from the prompt.
I'm toying with it myself but have little scripting experience.
Is this somethihng other people would have use for??
Thanks
ryan
