I've just installed a Sunrocket VOIP "Gizmo" The Gizmo, I think, is something approaching a modem/router.
I've had my VNC config running just fine up until plugging in the "Gizmo".
Prior to Gizmo, my setup was: CableModem > Linksys Router > Computers. Forwarding ports for VNC in the Linksys Router is a piece of cake.
Now, with Gizmo, I'm set up as: CableModem > Gizmo > Linksys Router > Computers.
The Gizmo is preventing me from getting through remotely, though I can still access all my computers from the inside.
Anyone have any experience with setting up UltraVNC to work with Vonage or Sunrocket?
Thanks!

VNC not working with Sunrocket VOIP
RE: VNC not working with Sunrocket VOIP
Yes, the gizmo does interfere. There are two ways to fix it, and both worked for me.
One is to put the gizmo behind your router and configure your router so that the gizmo is in its DMZ.
The other way is to go into the gizmo's configuration and pass the ports you need through to your router or put your router in the gizmo's DMZ. It has an internal web server you need to connect to for configuration. As I recall, the sunrocket gizmo's IP was 192.168.251.1, and its password was 'welcome'. Google for that password if it doesn't work, I've dropped my sunrocket a while back and can't remember it or test it now. The IP that the gizmo gave my router was 192.168.251.101. Once I told the gizmo to put that IP in the DMZ, everything started working again. Oh, and I think I had to click the 'reset' link on the gizmo internal web page whenever I did anything to it.
Good luck.
