Is there a way to prompt the user to have to enter IP addres

Post by babaganoosh »

SC is a GREAT tool for me. But sometimes I am not at my office. Is there a way to have the user prompted to enter an IP address when the double click to start the connection? I'd tell them what IP to use.

thanks!

How about using the repeater software? You can have it running on a box that access the internet and it will manage your connection. I use it when I am out of the office.

or like kaldag tell,
you can host your own repeater and use SC mode II with ID number
your viewer connect to your repeater
with an SC updated customer connect to your repeater
