Setup on A Secure System

Post by AS »

Hello,

I believe that i have a unique problem.

I am attempting to Install UltraVNC on the Windows 2000 Workstations located in our Jr. High school. They have heavy access restrictions for students applyed to them.

When I install UltraVNC's server (Regestered As A Service) it will work on administrator accounts. However, when a student logs in, the service is unable to run.

I have attempted to use FileMon to look at what files are being acessed, however, I see no conflicts (Read-only access to C:\ is allowed)

I have gotten as far as to see that the configuration file is not being open properly.

To the hope you may solve my problem,

A.S.
