On Connect with SC loosing often directly Connection (Listen

Post by Ripley »

Hi guys,
SC is nice but it disconnects often.
Running on both sides XP SP2.
On SC coonect to UVNC Viewer Mode (1.0 & 1.01),
the Windows OF Viewer opens and the first Picture is being built.
When the Desktop of SC is nearly 100%, i loose very often the connection.
I go thru Port 5500 on Viewer Side (forwarded)
This happens on two UVNC Viewers (different PC`s),
Maybee it is a timeout, cause the SC PC`S are often connected to WLAN.
But i don`t thik so.
Sometimes the same PC`s connect without problems.
But mostly disconnects.
Thanks for your help.
Walter

There are still some issue's with saving and auto loading multiple
connection, fullscreen missing a pixel, but for single use it is more stable then 101.
then,
modifiy your vncviewer listening properties

1. connected sucessfully to an SC server, then...modifiy option of your vnc viewer and select your quickoption other than auto
Save connection info as... (Hotkey CTRL+ALT+F5)
Save the options and settings of the active connection in a file.

example:
filename.vnc put in the folder of your vncviewer

2. modify your vncviewer listening shortcut or create new name.
target: "%programfiles%\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen 5500 -config filename.vnc

Start in: "%programfiles\UltraVNC%"
