SC in PE with Encryption

I'm trying to get my SC to work in BartPE/UBCD4WIN environment.

It works great if I have the encryption turned off, put if I use the plugin for encryption, I get an error about the protocol.

The same SC executable run outside of the PE environment connects fine both with and without encryption.

Any ideas?

build of MSRC4plugin ?

try to replace the old <=1.1.8.0 by this beta 1.1.9.8 more stable (as my knowledge)

I just tried the 1.1.9.8 plugin, same results.

I am using the -noreg version, just an FYI.

Any more ideas?

I think Scovel can help you for find a good solution of encryption on limited computer access and temp folder on virtual disk/memory due of BartPE specification of safe usage.

I haven't used BartPE. Don't really know anything about it.

That said...First of all, why are you using SC and not the full UltraVNC?

SC had a few oddities: First, regardless of the plugin used, it HAS to be named msrc4plugin.dsm. If you are using the noreg version you'll need to name it correctly.

Turn on logging for the plugin (see my website for ways to do that) and send me the logfile. That will tell me if the plugin is getting used and what problems it might have encountered.
