Strange Mouse habit

Post by Guest »

Hi, I'm very new in UltraVNC, and after the first intall on 2 PC-s I have my first problem.

The UVNC server is running on a Win95, the Viewer on a W2K, with 128 bit encryption.

Problem:
I can see both of PC-s (it is a test) and I had to realize, that the mouse pointer is not on the same place on displays. Unfortunally, the server side mouse pointer is working well, but I cannot see that on the Viewer side.
Did someone faced the same problem or have you any solutions to that?

Hi Again,

I have found, that if I use WinVNC as a service on Win95 I can have the strange habit of mouse. Running as a normal prg resolve the problem.

what does the "prg" in "normal prg" mean?

What does he meant running the WinVnc as a service in Win95,
Why, can you run it in other mode?

Just wondering, what does the "Noob" in "Noob-mode" means?

Hi Guest:

I thought that OS like Windows 95, 98, millenium(?) could NOT run services only NT, 2000, XP and all the servers.
If so that might explain why running the normal application program mode VNC worked but services mode did not.

hope this comment useful
