What is DSM plug-in?

I see DSM Plugin at the bottom left corner of the WinVNC.
What it is for and why it is shown 'no Plugin detected'.

When I try click the 'config' button beside it,
it shown 'The plugin cannot be loaded. Please check its integrity'

I've noticed this too! The DSM plug-in "appear" to get installed into their own separate folder. The VNC Server is looking for the plug-ins in the same folder where the "winvnc.exe" is located. So copy the plug-ins from "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\plugin" to "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC" folder.

But I am still wonder what is the exact function for this feature? Anyway for me to find the details?

Another question which I asked before but nobody answer. Which is, why UltraVNC could remotely view the webcame images in the server pc? I got darken blank screen on the webcam software display screen.

dsmplugin is add on plugin for add new feature to UltraVNC
but until today, there only exist encryption dsmplugin

the dsmplugin engine was done by UltraSam one dev of UltraVNC staff
