Hi all
(first post)
I've been playing with SCIII today and really liking it!
I've downloaded SCIII_test4.exe and after seeing the new enter.bmp and having a play I'm now wondering what I need to do to suppress the main SC window and only show the enter.bmp screen as in SCIII_test4.exe.
Also, is it possible to modify the layout/style of the fields and labels that appear over this bitmap?
Thanks

If you click SCIII_test4.exe, the exe expand himself in %temp% subdirectory, there you find the helpdesk.txt use for making the sample.
You can also use 7zip to extract the SCIII_test4.exe in a directory.
Then you can experiment with some settings , by just executing the winvnc.exe in the archive directory.

This is exactly what I have done, but I dont know how to ensure that the main window stays suppressed and only show the enter.bmp window.Rudi De Vos wrote:If you click SCIII_test4.exe, the exe expand himself in %temp% subdirectory, there you find the helpdesk.txt use for making the sample.

Any further suggestions?

This is weird. When I launch winvnc.exe on my laptop it doesnt suppress the first screen, but when I run it on my other PC it works fine, supressing the first screen and skipping straight to the enter.bmp screen.simham_uk wrote:This is exactly what I have done, but I dont know how to ensure that the main window stays suppressed and only show the enter.bmp window.Rudi De Vos wrote:If you click SCIII_test4.exe, the exe expand himself in %temp% subdirectory, there you find the helpdesk.txt use for making the sample.

Also, on the PC that it does work you do get a flicker of the other screen. Would it be possible to suppress the first screen properly rather than getting a flicker? Perhaps this would fix the issue I have on my laptop?
Thanks

I found the problem with my laptop not suppressing the first screen. It was down to a missing [DIRECT] section heading in the helpdesk.txt file, which I had deleted thinking I was being tidy....DOH!!
Thanks for the help, can't wait to get playing around with the src, still unavailable for the SSL version?
