We are using UltraVNC with several viewers at the same time (2-10 viewers), to show the presentations in videoconferences.
In the last time we had the problem that we wanted to show several animations and videos over VNC. Okay, I know it is not optimal to use VNC for this, but we had not found another way. In testing we found that the slowest viewer seems to set the speed for all others. When we connected one viewer from the same network (possible throughput of 50 MBit/s) we got a framerate of more than 10 fps. When we connected another distant slower (tested a throughput of 10 MBit/s) network the framerate was only 1 fps, even at the computer in the local network. Both clients were connected with LAN-option selected in the viewer.
Does anyone know why the speed for the faster connection gets down too? Is there a solution for this problem?

I think you are right. Because VNC uses TCP Connections, VNC Server need to do a Loop and send same Screen to all stablished connections, so while one connection do not receive a screen, all other connections are still wanting and then, the lowest connection plus all other connections delays will determinate de "frame rate"...
