I installed the newest ultravnc and loading the viewer it gives a yellow flag error box with no text.
If I force it with -listen it will load up but not display a tray icon. I have uninstalled & reinstalled, rebooted, swapped video cards, network cards and tried every verision I could find, .18 works but 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 don't.
This is a New XP PRO SP2 machine, from what I can tell from reading this happens with SP2 for some reason.
It seems some others are having this, some solved this issue by putting lang.dll & english.dll in the viewer directory, but I can not locate these DLL files anymore.
Here are some other threads with the same issue:
Here are some quick reading on it:

(UPDATE: FIX)
I hope this helps some one else in the future, I know it would have saved me hours...
I did a search and found a lang.dll in my system32 dir, but no English.dll. So I renamed the lang dll to something else (ie. lang.dlx) , started RSS server and it worked.
Some other programs must install lang.dll, I need to figure out which because I don't want to break something else, but if needed a english.dll should be provided in cases like this. (not just any English.dll but the one for RSS or Ultravnc, Bit Comit provides a English.DLL but I think it is program specific)
