I know there's a technical term and explanation for this.

Google Earth uses a method to paint video on the screen that the VNC protocol seems unable to display correctly.

Is it possible to find a workaround or is it possible or likely that VNC will support displaying this kind of video in the future?

I am running UltraVNC 1.0.1 on a Windows XP machine and connecting to it with Chicken of the VNC 2.0b3 on Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3. To go the other way, I use OSXvnc 1.6.1 on the Mac.
