Windows 95

Is SC launcher supposed to be able to work on Win 95? It doesn't anyway. You get the menu come up but double clcking on any connection type (with or without encryption) crashes it.

The latest ultravnc server seems to work okay.

I was wondering whether it's because the winvnc in SC is an older version or maybe just doesn't have the necessary support files for win 95?

If the normal version works with win95, SC should also work with win95

Have tried it on 3 different Win 95 machines and didn't run. As I said the connection panel came up and displayed fine but double clicking crashed.

Running the UVNC server 20.3 & 20.5 worked fine.

The version number in the SC exe shows 1.0.0.18, that's why I wondered if it might be abug with that version.

Hi has any one got SC to work with Windows 95 yet? I have tried it on several Windows 95 computers but just get a message "This program has performed an illegal ..... etc." SC decompresses ok and the interface appears but comes up with the error as soon as a connection is tried.

Program runs ok on XP and Win 98

Not sure if it would even work on windows 95. I only used it on windows 98 and above. How are you getting antivirus updates??? I am just curious how you can keep a windows 95 machine safe from viruses??
