Ports Main jumps to Display N.!

Post by Sentinel »

Something is wrong with UltraVNC 1.01 (latest version).

When you set the Ports Main at 5900 or 5904 and you've mapped this in your router, then it stopped working.
If you go to the Admin properties again and press the Apply button, then it jumps directly to Display N. instead of Ports main.
If I want port 5900 it must stay at Ports main, NOT at Display N.!
If I change it to 5904 and set it in the router, it jumps to Display N. again!.
I don't want that!

It is necessary to stay at Ports main, otherwise it won't work over the Internet to control your pc.

hmm.. Did you select the ports and place the port 5904.
Then hit apply. Close Winvnc and restart app or service and check to make sure that the por t is still 5904??

If so what type of router are you using??

No matter what you do, the standard ports lets jou jump to Display N.
If you change Ports Http, then it will stay there.

Older versions (1.0.) doesn't have this problem.

I've a Belkin Wireless HighSpeed 125Mbs router.

I haven't tried that solution of you Bevtech, because I was busy yesterday. I will try this tonight.
