Making WinVNC start on XP start up?

hello, i have WinVNC on my network, its all working fine and is excellent but i have an issue with the other computer (my brothers) In order to view his screen on mine i have to click WinVNC Server on his computer before returning to mine and then going to the viewer.

Is there anyway that i can get WinVNC Server running on his computer when he turns it on so i can view whats going on his without having to go to it and opening the program proir to doing anything?

If you set up VNC server as a service by "Install WinVNC Service", server will auto-start.

I just installed the latest version and checked "install as a service" and it comes up automatically. I just checked the config panel and it doesn't show that option for some reason (or maybe I just couldn't see it)

So - you could either uninstall and reinstall as a service or just move a copy of the shortcut into the startup folder (mine is under Documents and Settings\<username>\start menu\programs\startup)

You then need to run "Service Helper" in order for the server icon to show up in the System tray. Then, right click on the icon and configure the "Admin Propertires".
