I'm making great use of the repeater service, however I have the following situation:
5901 (Repeater) is x.x.x.100, one of our servers
5800 (VNC Java) for my desktop is x.x.x.75
5500 (Listening port) is x.x.x.75
I can't seem to get this to work. It seems that the Java Console cannot connect unless I have 5800 and 5900 pointing to x.x.x .75
Thanks for your help,

Port Forwarding possible?
stsanford,
One thing at a time.
Did you read my step by step for Repeater 1.0.4??
[topic=4798][/topic]
The repeater is designed to use ID numbers only and I am not sure if it will support the java viewer or not. Does it work with the vncviewer and vncservers??? I use mine for Single Click connections mostly and it works great...

I've actually had the repeater working fine for ages. Guess I didn't express myself properly.
With the following port forwarding working, everything is fine:
5900, 5500 and 5800 all pointing to x.x.x.76.
What I was wondering is if I wanted to place the repeater in the loop, say at x.x.x.156 and have 5500 and 5800 pointing to my desktop, it seems to not work, sort of the same way you have difficulty forwarding port 3389 for Termservices and then try to ues the Terminal Services web connector. It will only forward the desktop connection to the internal IP of the machine you have 3389 pointing to.
Thanks for your help,
