is the rc4.key file specific to the PC that generates it? ie - can you generate a rc4.key file using one machine, create a sc version that uses that file, and then setup other viewers to use the same key file?

the rc4.key need to be shared between all vnc viewers and vnc servers of same group needcommunicate togueter.
if you don't want group B use same key as group A, give another one for group B.

you can make individual rc4.key for a group A
another rc4.key for group B,
another rc4.key for group C,

if you need only one rc4.key for all your staff, that enough.
if you need to play with many rc4.key for different group without brainstorming,
