Dear all,
Apologies for being boring.
Can anyone out there recommend a reliable wireless router that will allow me to use UltraVNC?
My current route, surprise, surprise, is a DLink 604+ - after a couple of long days trying to get this to work - I haved failed miserably. I've port forwarded myself out!
Any feedback greatly appreciated!
Many thanks!
Mike

wmike1503,
I have had great results with netgears. I just installed a netgear 614. I had no problem port forwarding it to a Ultra VNC server and setting up a dynamic dns service for a dhcp WAN addresses.
Hope this helps,

NetGear
Hi Bevtech,
Thanks for the feedback - I've just setup a Netgear DG834G.
I still don't appear to be nearer understanding how to get it to work - I will be using SC from my website to allow customers to connect to me - I have a static IP with port forwarding setup correctly.
Are there any clear guidelines out there on how to get this to work?
Kind regards,
Mike
