This might be a stupid question(i think the question has already been asked) but is it possible to release a version of Single Click that has no time limit in it? TIA!
kevlar,
It has been asked and many users would like that option. But the main reason that there is a time limit is for security. No password protection with SC..
No question is stupid this is how we all learn..

Not everyone uses encryption and it is not required for single click. Any remote control software has a slight security risk no matter what it is. Ultra VNC offers two levelsof security password and encryption. Ultra VNC is also port configurable so this also increases security unlike some of the others that onlyl use a standard port. The developers know that some users would like that feature but it is up to them if they enable it or not. I use 128bt encypt. for all of my Ultra VNC sessions but I am IT tech..
With no password and open ports you lose alot of security a repeater can help increase it some but it is not required for Single Click.
You could always download SC.exe to the workstation you want to control on put it on a schedule using windows task manager. Then configure it to only use one host that way you can have it connect to you when you want it to..
