[HOST] entry limitations of helpdesk.txt

Post by Guest »

I have more than 25 [HOST] entries in my helpdesk.txt file & anything past the 25th entry. Is there a limitation to the amount of entries? I also noticed that when using the SCCC the exe doesn't show the correct icon but if I use the same zip to create the exe online it works just fine. I could post this in a different forum if necessary. One last thing, if anyone has used the -ID switch maybe they could tell me if this has been a good way of getting around this [HOST] entry limitation. Thanks in advance!

Guest,

I use the ID switch but I only use 8 connections in a single click.exe. If you use the ID then you may want to install a repeater to handle your connections (1.0.4) but I think its limit is 20 so the only thing I can suggust is to keep your heldesk.txt at 20 at a time and create multiple Single Clicks if you need more then 20. You can create a ton of Exes and run as many reverse connections as you want..:D

Host entry limitations

Has anyone noticed that a hostname ending in .net seems to choke and generate an error?
