I read in the FAQ for the mirror driver that it has been removed from the 1.0.1 installer. If this is true, why does the installer have a check box for installing the mirror driver and does it do anything if checked?

From 1.0.1 You need to download 2 seperate setups.
UltraVNC 1.0.1 Setup and
UltraVNC Video Driver Setup OR UltraVNC Video Driver Silent Setup
a) Some people found that you can not make ONE installer with
vnc (GPL) and driver (non GPL). To end the discussion, 2 seperate
downloads...
b) 1.0.1 can upgrade the previous version of vnc
Driver did NOT changed between 1.0.0 and 1.0.1. , so no upgrade needed. To prevent errors ( most people just click without reading) during
upgrade, it was better not to include the driver.

If you're not installing something with the setup, please remove the options. I could not figure out why the heck my driver installation wasn't happening all of a sudden. My previous 1.0.1 setup used to install the driver properly (I think..it always seemed to be there after installation), but when I downloaded it again for users, all of a sudden they had no video driver.
Very frustrating. Thanks.

Same happened to me ...
Tried reinstalling etc. until i finally found here that the thing isn't included in the package at all. As said before the option for the driver being present in the installation dialog is very misleading.
Otherwise I like this software very much, especially the SC looks interesting to me. I think the programmers have done really well.
